Partnership With HIKROBOT

Grambach/Graz, Austria, June 09, 2023 – VANILLA Automation, a leading developer and provider of innovative automation solutions for E-Mobility powertrain production, announced the partnership with HIKROBOT for the Automotive Production Industry in Europe. This agreement enables customers to fully integrate HIKROBOT modern robot technology with VANILLA ́s new innovative transport system.

Due to changing needs and requirements in the transformation towards E-Mobility, it was necessary to rethink and reengineer the way of automation for powertrain production. Today’s economies are dramatically changing, triggered by development in emerging markets, the accelerated rise of new technologies, sustainability policies and digitization. Increasing automation and new business models have revolutionized other industries, and automotive will be no exception. The global automotive sector is in its biggest transformation in the history. VANILLA Automation develops a new standard for the automated system assembly of Electrical Drive Units (EDUs of BEV/FCEV). The design and concept is based on modules, optimized to the needs of EDU assembly and maximized in terms of high economic efficiency, sustainability and scalability aspects.
